Last updated: 15 June 2026. These terms govern use of oakville.pk, the Oakville school portal, and Oakville mobile applications.

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using our Services. By accessing or using our website, portal, or mobile apps, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Oakville International School (“Oakville”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing access to and use of:

  • our public website at https://oakville.pk;
  • the school operations portal at https://oakville.pk/ops-login/ and related authenticated school systems;
  • Oakville mobile applications made available for parents, guardians, students, and staff;
  • any related APIs, forms, and digital services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • Website visitors may browse public content subject to these Terms.
  • Portal access is restricted to users authorised by Oakville. You must keep login credentials confidential and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
  • Mobile app accounts are provided to parents, guardians, students, or staff with a legitimate school relationship. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • If you use the Services on behalf of a child, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian or are otherwise authorised to do so.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep account details up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the Services;
  • scrape, harvest, or automate access except as expressly permitted;
  • upload malware, spam, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • harass, threaten, or abuse staff, students, families, or other users;
  • misrepresent your identity, role, or affiliation with the school;
  • use school systems to store or share content unrelated to legitimate school purposes.

We may monitor use of the portal and apps to the extent permitted by law for security, safeguarding, and operational purposes.

4. Website-specific terms

  • Content on the website is provided for general information about the school. Programme availability, fees, facilities, and admissions criteria may change.
  • Submitting a form does not guarantee admission or enrolment. Admissions decisions are made separately under school policy.
  • We may modify, suspend, or withdraw website content or features at any time.

5. Portal and mobile app terms

  • Access to academic records, notices, homework, attendance, fees, results, and similar features depends on your role and permissions assigned by the school.
  • Information displayed in the portal or apps is provided for school purposes. While we strive for accuracy, you should contact the school regarding official records or disputes.
  • Push notifications and in-app messages are provided as a convenience and do not replace official school communication channels where law or policy requires otherwise.
  • You must not share portal or app access with unauthorised persons.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for security reasons, policy violations, or when your relationship with the school ends.

6. Fees and payments

Where fee information or payment features are made available digitally, additional school fee policies apply. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers subject to their terms. Oakville is not responsible for failures caused by banks, payment networks, or third-party processors outside our reasonable control.

7. Intellectual property

All content, branding, logos, text, graphics, photographs, software, and materials made available through the Services are owned by Oakville or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent.

Limited personal, non-commercial use of public website content for informational purposes is permitted. Unauthorised use of Oakville trademarks or school materials is prohibited.

8. User content

If you submit content through forms, the portal, or mobile apps (including messages, documents, or feedback), you grant Oakville a non-exclusive licence to use, store, and process that content as necessary to operate the Services, fulfil school obligations, and comply with law. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate these Terms or the rights of others.

9. Third-party services

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party platforms (for example Google sign-in, maps, analytics, cloud hosting, app stores, or payment providers). Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. Oakville is not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Educational outcomes are not guaranteed. Website content is not professional legal, medical, or financial advice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Oakville and its directors, staff, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for the specific digital service giving rise to the claim in the three months before the claim, or (b) PKR 10,000, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oakville from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the portal or mobile apps immediately if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, pose a security risk, or no longer have authorisation to use the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. You agree that the courts of Lahore, Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer or education law.

15. App store terms

If you download our mobile applications from Apple App Store, Google Play, or other distribution platforms, you also agree to the applicable store terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the app or its content, except as required by the relevant store policies.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
